Oswego Canal

The Oswego Canal is located in the middle part of New York State.  The length of it is a just under 25 miles.  The southern section begins and connects at the Erie Canal at Three Rivers NY about 20 miles north of the city of Syracuse.  It’s most northern point and where it ends is Oswego NY at Lake Ontario (one of the 5 Great Lakes).  According to the visitoswegocounty.com/ website, there are many interesting facts about Oswego County NY.  They include (from an email sent by their website):
