A Positive Syracuse Site

This is a site from a local gentleman named David Haas.  What's great about his site is his love and pride of the Syracuse area.  He's positive too.  If we don't promote our Upstate NY area, who will???

Look through his site by clicking below.
StoryCuse does not have an Instagram account, but if you do also check out David's Instagram account at:

Pennsylvania Canals

Our neighbors to the south in Pennsylvania have quite an interesting history of canals.

I've obtained some great sites from Doug Logan (President of the Pennsylvania Canal Society).

Here is Pennsylvania Canal Society website.

Also have a look at:

This next post is about Pools Brook along the Old Erie Canal State Park.  It's less utilized than other parts of this linear state park.  It's located at the Onondaga County-Madison County border (east of Green Lakes State Park).

There's not much great information on this particular area of the canal, but I did find one, that I'll post.  You'll especially like it if you fish.

I've also created a YouTube video of this section.  You'll notice it's not as up kept as other areas of
Old Erie Canal State Park...
